Workshop on How to Write a Book 21.10.2026

The Minority Research Profile at ÅAU is organizing a workshop on ”How to Write a Book” with Professor Kaius Tuori (University of Helsinki).

The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the mechanics of writing a book, from the basic building blocks such as idea and sources to writing a book proposal and discussing with editors. The aim is to familiarize you on the many often strange aspects of getting a book published with a good publisher.

Time: 11:00-12:30.
Place: Room E101 Radiatorn, Arken-building, ÅAU Turku-campus.

The workshop is open to ÅAU-affiliated PhD-students and to ÅAU postdoctoral researchers who have defended their doctoral thesis during the past academic year 2024-2025.
