Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Programme TELME: Teaching Foreign Languages in a Multicultural environment Master programme
The Joint Master program the TELME project aims to recruit high quality students in Teaching foreign languages in a multicultural environment, organized in two academic years among four universities. The programme will teach future language teachers and professionals how to create and maintain an environment that encourages good interpersonal relations within a multicultural group.
Your first TELME year at Åbo Akademi University (60 ECTS)
Common courses for all TELME students (14 ECTS):
- Intensive week 5 ECTS (Rennes 2)
- Multicultural language project, and online hybrid learning course 9 ECTS (Limerick)
Courses at Åbo Akademi University (46 ECTS):
- Orientation course 1 ECTS
- Courses in language specialisation 35 ECTS (English/French/German)
- Students choose from a pool of courses but have to include at least 5 ECTS from every module: Linguistics and methodology in linguistics – Literature and culture – Language didactics. Check the courses offered in our Study Guide through the links below.
- Methodology, career and or practical experience 10 ECTS
