Double Degree Programme in Biochemistry or Cell Biology with Kasetsart University

Take your Master’s studies to another continent and graduate with two degrees: one from Åbo Akademi University and one from Kasetsart University.

Your Master’s thesis could take you from Finland to Thailand, or from Thailand to Finland. If you are a student in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or Animal Health Technology, the double degree programme between Åbo Akademi University (ÅAU) and Kasetsart University (KU) offers the opportunity to experience a new academic and cultural environment while advancing your studies and broadening your expertise.

The programme is open to students enrolled in the Master’s Programme in Biochemistry or Cell Biology at ÅAU or the Master’s Programme in Animal Health Technology at KU. Spend your first year at your home university and one semester or a full academic year at the host university. During the mobility period, you can complete all or part of your Master’s thesis under joint supervision from both universities. At the end of the programme, you graduate with two Master’s degrees Master of Science in Biochemistry or Cell Biology from ÅAU (120 ECTS)  and a Master of Science in Animal Health Technology from KU (40 KU credits).
