Flexible studies
As a degree student at Åbo Akademi University, you have the possibility to make your studies flexible considering the following options:
- an exchange period in your studies
- an internship
- studies at other Finnish Universities (JOO flexible study right or RIPA-study right)
- virtual courses
- e-exam possibilities
You can also study at Åbo Akademi University as a non degree student. Instead of applying to Åbo Akademi University for degree studies, it is possible to follow certain courses as a student at the open university or as an extra student. Students at other universities in Finland can apply for JOO-flexible study right at ÅAU.
