Courses in English

The following courses in English are arranged within the Open University as online courses 2021–2022.

The courses are intended for adult students. No previous knowledge of the subject or previous degree or academic studies are required, but a good demand of English is needed. NB These courses are not language courses.

Compulsory registration in advance. Registrations for the courses in the autumn term begins 16.8.2021. Registration to courses in the spring term from 22.11.2021. An e-mail of confirmation is sent out around 7 days before the course starts (adult students have priority to these courses).

Fees: The Open University charges a fee of 50€/term. The courses are free for exchange students at Åbo Akademi and for undergraduates at Åbo Akademi. Cancellations fees apply to everyone. Read more about our fees here.
