Should you previously or during your studies at ÅAU have completed studies at other universities in Finland or abroad, you can apply to include, replace or compensate these studies within your degree at Åbo Akademi University, i.e. transfer your credits. These studies can be included in your degree as optional studies, in some cases replace compulsory studies and in other cases compensate certain studies.
Åbo Akademi University continously process applications regarding credit transfer for our students, for studies completed before admission to ÅAU and studies completed elsewhere during your time as a student at ÅAU. No processing or decision making regarding credit transfer is made before admission.
