Double Degree in Information Technology with ESIGELEC Rouen, France

The double degree between Åbo Akademi University and ESIGELEC offers a unique chance for Åbo Akademi students to pursue the French engineering degree (diplôme d’Ingénieur) while also graduating with a Master of Science (Technology) (diplomingenjör) or Master of Science (Filosofie magister) from Åbo Akademi University. The language of instruction for the Master of Technology programme at ESIGELEC is English. Students originating from Åbo Akademi University following the engineering track at ESIGELEC spend three semesters at the partner university before ending the programme with a co-supervised final internship resulting in a master’s thesis. French language skills is a requirement for graduating from the engineering track.

The programme also provides students with the opportunity to pursue the French Master of Technology (Master en Sciences et Technologie) in Software Engineering and Digital Transformation. Students originating from Åbo Akademi University following the Master of Technology at ESIGELEC spend two semesters at the partner university before ending the programme with a co-supervised final internship resulting in a master’s thesis.

Students from ESIGELEC will spend one year at Åbo Akademi University, completing 45 ECTS of courses and wrapping up the programme by completing a co-supervised internship resulting in a Master’s thesis (30 ECTS).
