The Cultural Sciences Archive Cultura at Åbo Akademi University is a research and tradition archive open to students, researchers, personnel and the public. The archive contains the ethnological collection, the folkloristic collection and the Swedish-Finnish textile archive, and the archive works in close contact with Nordic Ethnology and Nordic Folkloristics.
The archive is actively gathering information through questionnaires, interviews and by other means. The archive has a large collection of photos, textiles and all kinds of tradition materials.
The working language is Swedish, but you’ll also find material in Finnish, English and other languages.

The materials are made available to researchers and the public by appointment, and we also receive groups for guided tours.
