Finding housing for a short time can be difficult especially during August and September. Arriving in Åbo (Turku) without housing is not a good idea as most private rental agreements are made for one year at a time and hence getting an apartment for a shorter time on the private market can be difficult.

However both Åbo and Vasa offer student housing for exchange students and the earlier you apply for it the better. Read more about your options below.
