Minor subject studies in Mathematics

The aim of minor subject studies in Mathematics is to extend the view of Mathematics as a discipline and as a teaching subject within basic education. The studies will prepare you for the application of new contents in education and new teaching methods.

The short minor subject (25 cr) is comprised of 5 courses for 5 credits each. You are free to choose from the courses listed below:

• Geometry
• Algebra and number theory
• Mathematical problem-solving
• Discrete mathematics
• Mathematics for comprehensive schools
• Individualised teaching in mathematics
