Doctoral Network: Realizing Human Rights

The aim of the Doctoral Network on Realizing Human Rights is to offer its doctoral students a systematically built, scientifically ambitious, and multidisciplinary research education which benefits from Finnish, Nordic and international contacts.

The doctoral network aims to provide the doctoral students with research funding at their respective home universities as well as a productive working environment in order to ensure that the doctorate may be completed in four years. It is expected that the doctoral network will contribute to the further improvement of the scientific standard of human rights research and increase the number of internationally world-class human rights experts in Finland and the partner countries.

The Doctoral Network on Realizing Human Rights is coordinated by the Institute for Human Rights at Åbo Akademi University.
