Åbo Akademi University switches to distance learning for period 3, campus open for self-study

Due to the corona situation, Åbo Akademi University will switch to distance learning for period 3 (10.1-20.3). Exceptions are made for courses that require attendance, such as laboratory courses, Language Centre courses and compulsory internships. Restaurants on campus are open.

Although most teaching is done remotely, the campus will remain open as much as possible. Students can book spaces for self-study and group work, for example, and student associations have access to their offices and meeting rooms.

For staff, working remotely is still recommended for period 3.

We expect everyone moving around campus to wear a face mask and to keep a safe distance where possible. We also encourage good hand hygiene and that everyone who is able vaccinates themselves against the coronavirus.

The library and other support functions inform about their own operations.

For more information about keys to campus and how to book rooms please see this page on the intranet.
