The Language Centre at Åbo Akademi University takes part in 2digi2, which is a two-year project (2022-2023), involving teachers and staff from twelve language centres around Finland. The project is a continuation of 2digi aiming at assisting language centre teachers in navigating the rapidly changing digital teaching environment. There are four main themes in the project.

1. Research, write, share and promote new learning objectives for the digital age
2. Analyse the generic skills needed in a digital environment and create guidelines and materials for their teaching. 3.
3. Provide guidelines and materials for teaching students with special needs in the digital environment
4. Provide guidelines and materials for relationship building in a digital environment.
