2Digi2

The Language Centre at Åbo Akademi University participated in the national 2digi2 project in 2022-2023, involving teachers and staff from 12 language centres in Finland. The project was a continuation of 2digi and aimed to help teachers at the language centres navigate the rapidly changing digital teaching environment. There were four main themes in the project.

1. researching, producing and sharing new learning objectives for the digital learning environment
2. analyse the generic skills needed in a digital environment and create guidelines and materials for teaching
3. develop guidelines and materials for teaching students with special needs in the digital environment
4. provide teachers and students with guidelines and materials for relationship building in a digital environment.
