M.Soc.Sc Hateem Al Khuja will publicly defend his doctoral thesis in Developmental Psychology with a thesis entitled A Cross-cultural Examination of the Relationship between Intercultural Competence, Private Self-awareness, and Well-being: Evidence from Syrians in Germany and Arabic-speaking Immigrants in Finland.

Professor Jane L. Ireland, University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom, will serve as opponent and docent Karin Österman, Åbo Akademi University, as custos.
