Conferral Ceremony at Åbo Akademi University
The conferral ceremony is one of Åbo Akademi University’s most solemn and tradition-rich ceremonies, in which new doctors (promovendi), honorary doctors and jubilee doctors are ceremonially conferred their degrees in a unique academic community that unites tradition and scholarship.

The next Conferral Ceremony will be held on Friday, 21 May 2027 at Logomo in Turku. Graduates of Åbo Akademi University who have obtained a doctoral degree but have not yet been conferred may pre-register their interest in participating in the next conferral ceremony via the link below.
