ClimaResponse helps municipalities and authorities in the Baltic Sea Region improve their climate resilience by providing practical tools and innovative solutions for local climate adaption and disaster risk reduction.
What ClimaResponse will do:
– Boost local capacity for climate adaption measures.
– Provide tools for integrating climate risk into municipal governance.
– Develop a Digital Planning Platform for Climate Resilience, an online resource offering step-by-step guidance to municipalities for local adaption planning.
– Pilot climate adaption solutions in partner municipalities.
– Run awareness campaigns to support local climate adaption efforts.
Building on previous CBSS initiatives like ClimaLoc (2021–2023), the Handbook on Local Climate Adaptation and Resilience, and the CASCADE (2019–2022), the project ensures that local authorities have access to tested methodologies and best practices for long-term climate resilience.
