Orientation Week Programme for International Master Degree Students in Vasa
Åbo Akademi University organizes a orientation week for all newly admitted international master degree students to kick-start the beginning of your studies with us, and to provide you with everything you need to know to have a great start to your studies.
During the orientation week, students get the most important information regarding the start of their studies, living in a new city and a new country, as well as get the opportunity to meet other fellow students and take a look at our campus.

All students staying 3 months or more need to obtain a Finnish Personal Identity Code after they have arrived in Finland. You should complete the online digital form before you visit the Digital and Population data services agency. Read more here.

- Certificate of attendance from Åbo Akademi University
- A residence permit, if you have been granted one, or a certificate of your right of residence if you have submitted a mobility notification to the Finnish Immigration Service.
