Hanna Tuominen will present her research on EU as a human rights actor and her research project on the EU in migration/refugee policy.

For some years now the Institute for Human Rights has been arranging, at irregular intervals, informal gatherings among staff and students on topical issues. During these sessions, invited guest speakers or the researchers at the Institute for Human Rights first give a short introductory presentation which is then followed by a general discussion. The purpose of the sessions is to increase cooperation among all personnel, researchers and students and to boost the internal dialogue on academic and other topics.
