Guidelines for individual papers and symposia
Guidelines for individual papers
Individual papers are formal presentations on original research by one or more authors. Presentations will be allocated 20 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of discussion. Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words in length (excluding references) and include the aim and research question(s), theoretical underpinnings, research design, and results. Abstracts and presentations should be in English. Note that every abstract should have one corresponding author that is responsible for distributing all information to the co-authors.
Guidelines for symposia
Symposia are 90-minute blocks focusing on a specific topic where independent, yet related papers are discussed. A symposium consists of presentations, or presentations and a discussion. Note that every symposium should have a convenor that is responsible for distributing all information to the symposium presenters. The corresponding convenor is asked to submit a proposal that must include a general abstract describing the symposium (max 150 words) and the abstracts for all individual presentations (each max 300 words following the guidelines for individual papers). The description should include a preliminary schedule, a list of the contributors and the titles of their presentations in the order in which the presentations will be given. Abstracts and presentations should be in English.
