Library and Archive Services During Christmas and New Year 

Library Customer Service at Arken Library 
Closed for Christmas from 23 December to 6 January. 
Self-service with your own key is available until 22 December at 16:00 and resumes on 2 January 2026. 

Archive Collections 
Open until Friday, December 19, 2025, and will reopen on January 7, 2026. 

Course Books in Turku 

• You can borrow course books at ASA until 12 December (self-service until 14 December). 

• Borrow now – you’ll get an extended loan period until 8 January 2026. 

• Reserved course books can be picked up at Arken between 15–22 December. 

• Starting 7 January 2026, course books will be borrowed from the new Astra building. 

Return Books in Turku 
24/7 via ASA’s return slot in the courtyard (next to A-door) 
At Arken Library during opening hours and self-service times 

Academill Library in Vaasa 
The service desk will be closed from December 22, 2025, to January 7, 2026. Students and staff have access to the library with their own keys and can also borrow items during the Christmas holidays.
