Arrival and accomodation
Participants book and pay for their own accommodation.
Åbo Akademi is located in the center of Vaasa. We recommend that participants from within the country travel by train, as the railway station is situated in the city center—close to several hotels and within walking distance of the event venue.
Vaasa Airport is located approximately ten kilometers from the center of Vaasa, and the drive takes about ten minutes. The local public transport operator, Lifti, runs by the airport with bus line 4. The bus journey takes around 25 minutes. On weekdays, the bus generally departs once or twice an hour.
Uber service, as well as Dott and Ryde electric scooters, also operate in Vaasa city centre.
