Dean Peter Nynäs

 

Peter Nynäs is professor of the study of religions and he has primarily conducted research on contemporary religion, including perspectives from both psychology and sociology of religion. In particular he has worked with methodological development and research on religion in relation to identity processes, gender and sexuality, and cultural encounters and cross-cultural issues. He is director of the center of excellence in research “Young adults and religion in a global perspective”.
