Service interruption in Alma-Finna search portal on Wednesday 4 November
A planned service interruption will take place on Finna on Wednesday 4 November 2026 from 09.00. The service interruption is expected to be over by 12.00 at the latest.
During this time, however, you can borrow, return and carry out other library-related tasks at the customer service desk at Arken Library in Turku, which opens at 10.00. The self-service machines at Arken, Astra and Academill in Vaasa will be in operation.You can also contact the library’s customer service via biblioteket@abo.fi or by telephone on +358 2 215 4180 (from 10.00 onwards).
The disruption is due to a migration of the data centre responsible for the technical maintenance of Finna. During the disruption, the national Finna.fi service and other Finna-based web services, such as Alma-Finna, will be out of service.
