The European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC) / Global Campus of Human Rights (GC) has announced that the call for applications for the European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA) for the academic year 2019/2020 is now open.
EMA is an intensive one-year course aimed at educating 90 professionals annually in the field of human rights and democratisation. It is open to both EU and non-EU citizens. EMA is both a residential and an exchange programme. The first semester from September 2019 to January 2020 is organised at EIUC’s premises in Venice and the second semester from February to July 2020 takes place in one of the 41 participating universities within the member states of the European Union. The Institute for Human Rights and the Chair of Public International Law at Åbo Akademi University have been hosting 1-3 EMA students each spring term for several years, and we also want to encourage Åbo Akademi University students to apply for the programme.
