The Business Council at HHÅA
The Business Council is a strategic advisory body that constitutes the School of Business and Economics at Åbo Akademi University’s (HHÅA) most important forum for collaboration with the business sector. The council consists of prominent representatives from various industries and serves as a platform for dialogue on how HHÅA can develop in line with the needs of society and the business community.

The council members provide valuable insight into competence needs and trends that affect the future economy and working life. For students, this means education that is relevant, up-to-date, and closely connected to real challenges in the business world. Council members can also contribute to seminars and events at HHÅA, where students, alumni, and staff have the opportunity to meet in person around current topics.
The Business Council is a living bridge to working life and is led by Professor of Practice Martin Nordell (HHÅA) and Project Coordinator Jessica West (HHÅA).
