The Summer School is arranged at Åbo Akademi University’s campus (Fänriksgatan 3A), in Turku, Finland.

Traveling to Turku

You can reach Turku Airport by plane via Helsinki Airport. The distance between Turku Airport and Åbo Akademi University’s campus is about 10km. Bus or taxi are the recommended ways of transport from the airport.

The flight traffic to Turku Airport has been minimized. We therefore recommend flying to Helsinki Airport and taking a train or bus to Turku (travel time 2.15-2.45h).

You can also reach Turku by ferry from Stockholm. The cruise lines Viking Line and Silja Line traffic the route.

Traveling in Turku

The ASA-building is located no more than 1.1km from the city center, where the hotels Sokos Wiklund, Scandic Julia and Centro Hotel are situated. Turku central railway station is situated 2,1km from the ASA-building and Turku bus station 1,3km.

It only takes about 20 minutes to walk from the city center to the ASA-building. It is also possible to travel by bus or taxi in Turku.
