A warm welcome to Åbo Akademi University and congratulations on your admittance to ÅAU!

We are excited for you to become a member of our international student community!

Now that you have been admitted we know there is a lot to organize. Please read through all information we have gathered for you on these pages, especially the prearrival information.

We are looking forward to meeting you during the orientation week, which takes place the last week in August (arrival day is 26 August 2024). The orientation programme is organised on campus in Turku and Vaasa. You also have a  student tutor among your fellow students, whom you can turn to for any questions you might have.
