M.Soc.Sc. Marja Lindberg will publicly defend her doctoral thesis in Social Policy at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies. The thesis is entitled Staying afloat. Studies on the subjective wellbeing and coping strategies of families with children in Finland.

Professor Olli Kangas, University of Turku, will serve as opponent, and professor Mikael Nygård, Åbo Akademi University, as custos.
