M. Psych. Alessandro Tadei will publicly defend his doctoral thesis in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Psychology and Theology at Åbo Akademi University. The thesis is entitled FICSA: The Finnish Investigative Instrument of Child Sexual Abuse. Machine Learning Applied to Criminal Investigations.
Associate Professor Steven Herman, University of Hawaii, USA, will serve as opponent and Associate Professor Jan Antfolk, Åbo Akademi University, as custos.
To attend the public defence, you need to have the Zoom software or the web browser Google Chrome installed on your computer. You do not need a Zoom account to attend. If you install the Zoom software you attend by clicking on the link for the event, at which point you are asked to allow the Zoom app to launch.
At the end of the event members of the audience are allowed to ask questions. If you want to ask question, you can indicate that by using the “Raise Hand” feature. You can prepare yourself by having a microphone installed on your computer, or by writing down your question in a text document ready to be copied into the Zoom chat feature when you are asked to state your question.
