I am a researcher in philosophy at the Department of Philosophy at Åbo Akademi University. My doctoral dissertation dealt with the different kinds of conversation we may have about love, and what may be learnt by considering them in the discussions of philosophy. I defended it on September 26th in 2008. Since then I have worked with philosophical questions concerning emotions, moral relativism, moral psychology, teaching philosophy, and every now and then returning to the philosophical significance of attending to love.
